to upload new events, a table must be defined before selecting the data file. If this is not done, the upload dialog is shown anyway. There should be a hint, that a table must be selected first

Thank you for filing your idea. We have changed the data handling mechanisms in the 2021Jun release. This also comes with an updated way to upload new data to the new section "Source tables". We hope to have covered your idea with the new implementation.
