A single data set might contain distinct process executions based on a certain attribute (Document type, Product Group , Workflow etc)
In these cases a single reference model to run the conformance on is not sufficient
Ideally we would be able to load multiple reference model to a data set and connect these to the data based on a given attribute (e.g Standard Order, Rush order, Intercompany Order, etc)
I'm happy to share that we've introduced a new capability in ARIS Process Mining that enhances the process conformance checks with multiple models. With this release of ARIS Process Mining, we support the use of multiple reference processes on one dataset in ARIS Process Mining.
Process mining analysts can now easily select relevant process data for each conformance check, allowing for differentiation among variant models tailored to different countries, regions, or units.

Just an idea but maybe the possibility to link a reference process to a given (set of) variant(s) would be helpful too. Of course this requires an enhancement in variant management(feature requests already existing).
